The successful applicant will take pride in their work, have initiative, be willing to work as part of a team and understand the importance of good feedlot practices to assist achieving excellence in all areas of feedlot operation.
Applicants will be able to operate machinery, have basic computer capabilities, while also having competent cattle handling skills.
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to; operating machinery associated with mixing and feeding cattle, general maintenance on machinery, livestock handling; including stock movement, induction, diagnosis/treatment, operate feedlot software program with all feedlot activities and cleaning and maintenance of facilities.
The successful applicant will be required to work 5 days per week, plus alternating weekends.
Salary commensurate with experience.
